Edited by: Matt G on 08/02/2009 09:45:51 As far as I would be concerned, I run Minmatar Level 4's in my Dominix on my main, and the fit I would suggest are:
DRONES: 10x Hammerhead II's, 10x Ogre I's (Ogre II's if you really wanna be God)
LOWS: 1x Large Armor Rep 2 (Train Repair 5!) 4x Twin-style Amor Hardner II's (2 of 1 type, 2 of another) 1x EAMN II 1x 1600mm Rolled Tungsten Plate
MEDS: 1x Target Painter II (Grab agro) 3x Cap Recharger II's 1x Drone Navigation Computer (Speed up them Ogres)
HIGHS: 2x Small Tractor Beams 2x Salvagers 2x Drone Link Augmentor
RIGS: 1x Auxiliary Nano Pump I 2x Capacitor Control Circuits
EST. COST = 300mil ISK w/Insurance
Train the required skills for this fit, and a little extra in your engineering. With energy system operation at 4, you will be cap stable.
I use this fit and it does perfectly. Don't have to come back with a salvager. Most of the time, I go into a mission, grab agro with my target painter, once they all have a lock on me, launch the Hammerhead II's and go watch a tv show. When that's over, I come back and if anything's left, finish em off with the Ogres.
You can find the armor hardner types out there on the net. EVE Survial tells you which ones to use in the missions. Here's bit of info, just in a general wiki.
----------------------- Armor Rigging - Allows use of armor rigs Capital Repair Systems - Allows use of capital armor repairers, 5% reduction in capital armor repair module cycle time per level. NOTE: Reducing the cycle time for repair systems will increase their capacitor usage. Hull Upgrades - 5% bonus to armor hitpoints per level. This skill is required for armor plates, damage controls, energized plating, resistance plating, and armor hardeners. At level IV, Tech II reflective plating & damage controls are unlocked. At level V Tech II armor hardeners, energized plating, and all the larger armor plates become unlocked. Repair Systems - Allows use of armor repairers, 5% reduction in armor repair cycle time per level. One of the skill prerequisites for Armor Repairers. Level IV is required for Tech II large and medium armor repairers. NOTE: See above note under Capital Repair Systems. Compensation skills give a 3% bonus to the respective resists of active hardeners when they are inactive, and a 5% bonus to passive hardeners.
